Family Burial Site, Toowong Cemetery, Brisbane

The Murray-Prior family burial site, shown in this photo,1) is in the Toowong Cemetery, Brisbane (Corner Frederick Street and Mt Coot-tha Road), Toowong, Brisbane, Portion 13 Section 72 (with Morres in section 75). The site is near the Brisbane_Botanic_Gardens,_Mount_Coot-tha - always worth a visit. These two maps will help you find the graves (portion 13 is marked with a x on the first map):

T.A. & M.T. M-P ensured that the graves, which had fallen into disrepair, were restored. 3) The next two photos shows Matilda's memorial.
Grave inscriptions:

Florence and Thomas M-P's memorial is also in the Toowong Cemetery. They were originally buried next to each other in a private garden at Maroon.4) In 1920 they were reburied in the family plot at Toowong Cemetery.5) Only remnants of the original headstones remained to be used in the restoration.6) thomas_de_monmorenci.jpeg
